Showfloor

Terms

Last updated 18 September 2026

These are the rules for using Showfloor, whether you are walking the hall or renting a booth. By using the site you agree to them. "We" means the team operating Showfloor.

1. Visiting

You can walk the hall without an account. We give you a made-up name, which you can change. Do not pick a name that is abusive or that pretends you are Showfloor staff or someone else. Do not try to disrupt the hall, overload it, scrape it, or get into parts of it that are not yours.

2. Booths

A booth is a monthly subscription to a plot in the hall. You may only build a booth for a website, brand or profile that you own or are authorised to represent. A booth may go public before you have proved that, in which case it is marked as not verified; we may ask you to prove it at any time, and we require it before payment and, for well-known names, before the booth is public at all. The owner of a website may take over any booth made for it by proving ownership. A booth that has not been paid for is private to the person who built it, is not shown to anyone else, and its plot is released after a few minutes. The plot is yours while your subscription is active; it is not property and cannot be sold or transferred without our agreement.

Whoever holds a booth's private manage link controls the booth. Keep it private. If you lose it you can get back in by proving again that the site is yours.

Paid booths include traffic figures, described on the about page. They are estimates measured in visitors' browsers and on our server. We work to keep them fair and leave out the owner's own visits, but we do not promise they are exact, and they are not a promise of any level of traffic.

3. Payments, renewals, cancelling and refunds

Prices are shown in the hall and at checkout, in US dollars, and may include tax where we are required to collect it. Payment is taken by Stripe. Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your booth's Billing link; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund part-used months. If we remove your booth for a reason other than a breach of these terms, or the service is unavailable for an extended time, we refund the unused part of the month. If a payment fails and is not recovered, the booth comes off the floor and the plot is released after seven days.

4. Your content

Your booth shows material from your website, such as your name, logo, images and text, and anything you type in. You keep all rights to it. You give us permission to host it, display it in the hall and on your booth's page, and show it in previews and promotion of Showfloor, for as long as your booth exists. You confirm you have the right to give that permission.

5. What is not allowed

6. Messages between visitors and exhibitors

When a visitor sends a message at a booth, we pass their name, email and message to that exhibitor so they can reply. Exhibitors may use those details only to answer the visitor, unless the visitor agrees to more. What an exhibitor says about its own products, prices and offers is the exhibitor's responsibility, not ours.

7. Moderation and removal

We screen booth text, act on reports, and may edit, hide or remove a booth, a name or a message that breaks these terms, with or without notice. For serious or repeated breaches we may end a subscription without a refund.

8. The service

We work to keep the hall open all the time but do not promise it will never be down, slow or changed. We may move plots, change the layout, add halls, or change features. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the month.

9. Our material

The Showfloor name, the hall, its design and its software belong to us. You may share links to and screenshots of the hall and your booth.

10. Liability

Showfloor is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell exhibitors by email before it takes effect. Questions and legal notices: hello@showfloor.lol.
